CarterSiegel, M.Ed; E-RYT500; Yoga Therapy 300, is a Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor with additional training in yoga as therapy. She specializes in issues of the musculoskeletal system and the psychology and philosophy of yoga. In the years following her trainings she has been teaching in private and group settings to people of all ability levels using dynamic, gentle, restorative, and meditative forms of yoga. As a Level I yoga as therapy teacher, Carter is uniquely qualified to bring the teachings of yoga psychology and philosophy into the physical practice of yoga. Carter has studied and practiced numerous styles of yoga such as ashtanga, vinyasa, gentle, meditation and restorative. In addition to teaching postures, Carter teaches and facilitates meditation, Yoga Nidra, and the philosophy of yogic living. While her foundation is based in the physical aspects of yoga, Carter makes every aspect accessible to even the newest yogi through a careful and gentle approach to identifying the needs of each student. Whether teaching to the newest or the most advanced practitioner, Carter’s style is clear, logical and at an appropriate pace to help support a student’s goals and abilities.
