Meditation for Life
This class is based on the book, 'Meditation for Your Life' by Robert Butera, PhD. Each class will include gentle movement and stretching, yoga philosophy, sharing, journaling and up to 30 minutes of meditation. Please note that building up to a 30 minute meditation practice can take time. During the meditation, if you become uncomfortable, you are always welcome to move, journal, or lay down.
Return home with an increased sense of peace and equanimity and a little more mindful of your daily stressors with tools to help reduce them.
Tom Hudson, is a graduate of the YogaLife Institute’s 200-hour Classical Yoga Teacher Training program. Tom is also a Certified Level 1 Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide and is a Reiki Level 1 practioner. Tom is currently furthering his studies in YogaLife's 300-hour teacher training program and Primordial Sound Meditation through the Chopra Center.
With over 2 decades of experience in martial arts training and meditation, as well as a background in competitive powerlifting and CrossFit, Tom came to yoga to implement a low impact method to maintain a healthy body and to grow spiritually. Tom’s interests lie with the philosophical teachings of yoga, meditation, and pranayama (breath control).
