Restorative Yoga with Amy Choate
Join us Sunday evenings for a restorative yoga practice and press the reset button for your upcoming week.
A restorative yoga practice typically involves only 5 or 6 poses. Props are used to support the body, allowing you to completely relax and rest in each pose, giving you all the benefits of deep, passive stretching. With an emphasis on breath and settling the mind, there is an overall calming effect on the nervous system where deeper states of relaxation can occur.
This class does not require any prior yoga experience and will allow time to pause, restore, and revitalize to help you feel more like yourself again.

Amy turned to yoga as a way to heal from a sports injury but quickly discovered that the mind body benefits were exactly what she craved. Yoga provides her the space to breathe and quiet for her restless thoughts to settle, which allows her to connect with her true self. Amy is especially committed to yoga for the presence she finds on and off the mat.
Amy is passionate about supporting others in yoga so they can discover the unique ways it can impact their own lives. She is dedicated to helping others find their wellness through classes, individual coaching, and workshops.
