Freeing Ourselves From Family Karma

Friday, November 15, 2019, 05:30pm - 08:30pm

Retire the Curse, Enhance the Blessing

Family KarmaDo you feel locked into your family’s karma (reactions, cycles or patterns)?

Explore how you have been affected by the karma of your parents and grandparents. Even if you don’t know anything about your roots, this workshop can be helpful in identifying thought patterns and attitudes and their sources. When we become aware of the sources, we can then prune some aspects and feed others. This helps us grow a more authentic self. Join Sally Sugatt, Yoga Teacher and Licensed Mental Health Practitioner, for conversation and gentle yoga practice as we bring awareness and contemplate positive change.

This workshop is intended to deepen our understanding and experience of the concept of Karma. Modern and ancient texts will be referenced, and the yoga practice will be explored as a means to become more aware of our karma, practice acceptance, and act in more intentional ways.

This workshop is open to health care professionals, curious yoga students, and all Yoga teachers (You do not need to be a student or graduate of YogaLife's Teacher Training programs). No prior yoga experience is needed. As part of the 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training program’s Module, “Therapeutic Benefits of Yoga”, the content will focus on Yoga’s Philosophy, Psychology and practices for individuals and groups. Yoga Instructors: This workshop is eligible for 3 Yoga Alliance CEU’s.

Workshop cost $45.00
