with Sharon Fellows Lamb, RYT
Sunday, November 2, 3:00-5:00pm
Blue Moon Studio, Exeter, NH
Thanksgiving is, for many of us, the tip of the iceberg of holiday stress. While we look forward to the holidays each year, and to the time spent with loved ones, we often get caught up in the stress of travel, house guests, preparations, and shopping.
Take some time out of your busy schedule to re-connect with the spirit of the holidays. Through guided visualizations, breath work, pose practice, and meditation, we will bring awareness to the aspects of our life for which we are grateful, as well as to the opportunities for growth that exist in situations we may find challenging. By cultivating gratitude in the present moment - with all of its imperfections - we prepare to greet the holidays with a sense of contentment and loving awareness.
Sharon Fellows Lamb is a graduate of the 200 hour Classical Yoga Teacher Training program at the YogaLife Institute. Sharon came to yoga from a gymnastics background, seeking a way to maintain strength, flexibility, and body awareness as she eased into a non-competitive physical practice. Sharon's practice later deepened in response to pregnancy and new motherhood, as she found that yoga provided not only physical benefits, but also helped to manage fatigue, stress, and anxiety. Through her studies of classical Indian philosophy and her YogaLife training, Sharon has come to embrace yoga as a holistic lifestyle, and is enthusiastic and honored to share the depth and breadth of yoga practice with others. When she is not "on the mat," Sharon enjoys being outdoors, is passionate about real food, and works continually to apply yogic teachings to her daily life and relationships as a full-time home schooling mom.
