Private Yoga Sessions

Private sessions are an excellent way for an individual to learn yoga in a non-intimidating environment. Some take advantage of this to develop a personal home practice while others take these sessions to feel more comfortable in a regular weekly class. Others take Private Yoga Sessions to develop a deeper connection with yoga whether it’s through yoga poses, relaxation, breathing exercises, philosophy or meditation. In a group class the practices (poses / breathing exercises / relaxation / meditation) are all geared to the general group. In a private session there is an opportunity for sharing and feedback. Working individually allows the student to be proactive and a participant in exactly what they want to work on with full attention from the teacher.

Private Yoga Class

A Private Yoga Class is an opportunity for a small group of friends, family members or colleagues to practice together in an environment geared specifically to the group, without the general public present. These classes can be set up when the studio is free and when it meets the groups availability. Whether you want to celebrate and enjoy a class with those closest to you with a specific theme, share yoga with hesitant family members, friends or colleagues or you want to have an environment that is geared toward a specific circumstance (level of experience, type of class, limitations...), we can meet those needs.

Private yoga classes are available by appointment.

Private Yoga Therapy

"Yoga seeks to enhance our strengths and root out the unhealthy thought patterns that are at the foundation of stress and suffering. Ultimately, we discover what it is to be balanced in our own unique way. We will most likely always have challenges before us, and Yoga gives us the tools to not only face such difficulties, but come through them having gained valuable lessons, greater Self awareness, peace, and excitement about our purpose in life." ~ Julie Rost, YogaLife Institute

What is Yoga Therapy?

Yoga Therapy rests on a "preventative health care" model. Under this model the "patient" is a client, who is actually a student of health. Yoga therapy views all aspects of life as having the potential to be healing and inspirational. Predominant modes of exploration include:

• Yogic physical well-being via energetic, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual well-being
• Mindset that while we may not be able to control health, we can overcome suffering from our situations
• Self-reliance in caring for your own well-being comes through physical, relational, psychologically, and spiritual aspects
