Lisa Burk-McCoy, RYT PDF Print E-mail
lisa_burk_mccoy_portraitLisa Burk-McCoy's yoga journey began several years ago in a class above the Blue Moon. It was there that she began to realize the life-changing potential of yoga and eventually decided to pursue her 200-hour teaching certification. This has opened the door to a level of physical, emotional and spiritual awareness that provides a continuous (and amazing!) learning adventure. She is interested in wellness as a state of being- rather than as the opposite of illness- and is particularly inspired through personal experience as a caregiver to explore the relationship between yogic movement and neurological health. In addition to yoga, Lisa dabbles as a musician, playing flute in a local contra dance band. She is blessed with a wonderful family- a husband, son and daughter, without whom she would be incomplete. They make their home in Exeter, NH.
