In this gentle class, guided by the breath, we will build a practice that will release, strengthen and stretch the spine. Dynamic and static movement and poses will help release muscle tension, strengthen postural muscles, and support activities of daily life. Discover why correct alignment is important to overall health as well as spine health. Conscious breathing linked with gentle movement helps to manage stress and chronic pain by activating the relaxation response. Safe and supportive for all levels.
Amy Choate is a Certified Holistic Health Coach at ADC Wellness and a graduate of Yogalife’s 200 hour Teacher Training Program. Amy turned to yoga as a way to heal from a sports injury but quickly discovered that the mind body benefits were exactly what she craved. Yoga provides her the space to breathe and quiet for her restless thoughts to settle, which allows her to connect with her true self. Amy is especially committed to yoga for the presence she finds on and off the mat.
