Yoga with Alice Bentley
Find the present moment and explore the mind, body, breath connection, through both dynamic and static movement. Linking breath with intentional movement provides space for us to become aware of the wisdom within our own bodies.
Each class will begin with a brief discussion of classical yoga philosophy and how it relates to our everyday lives, today in the modern world. We will explore the ways in which yoga can help us cultivate an even deeper sense of connection to our most authentic Selves and others. Classes will also offer breathing exercises, guided relaxations and time for short meditations. Modifications will be offered for all levels but some experience in yoga is recommended.
In this class you are guided to follow the wisdom of your body and heart and make the practice your own.
Corrine is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher and is currently enrolled in the YogaLife Institute’s 300-hour Teacher Training program. She graduated from Keene State College, in 2011, with a bachelor degree in English and another in Communications. She found her passion in women’s studies and empowerment and has been converging that passion with her love of yoga ever since. For Corrine, yoga and women’s empowerment go hand in hand. “Yoga reminds us that we are whole, that we are worthy and that we can connect to our higher Self in any moment. Yoga is a tool that can be used to awaken the Divine Feminine and empower women to live their most authentic lives. To remember their innate abilities of transformation, power, intuition and self-love.” Corrine teaches both public and private classes. She specializes in yoga for women, chanting and women’s circles. When she is not on the mat, she can be found spending time in nature with her two young children. Corrine lives on the seacoast of New Hampshire with her partner, Jake and their two children, Harper and Ronin.
