This class is for students seeking ease in movement and balance in standing poses by knowing one's own Range of Motion (ROM). The practice consists of seated and reclining poses with long-relaxed holding of positions. Yin Yoga is slower paced and postures are held longer which targets the connective tissues helping to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility.
Dido Nydick Dido is an E-RYT500 certified yoga teacher. She has been practicing for 20 years and completed her 500 hour training in ISHTA (Integrated Science of Hatha, Tantric and Ayurveda) in New York City in 2003 and the Masters ISHTA Training in 2016 under the direction of Alan Finger. She is also certified as a "Relax & Renew" Restorative instructor by Judith Lasater and specializes in Yin Yoga, Yoga for Seniors, Beginners and Yoga Wall. She is presently continuing her yoga studies with YogaLife in Exeter, NH. Dido’s penchant for yoga is to study with teachers that emphasize the integration of mind, body and spirit. Her classes include poses, breathwork, meditation and philosophy to create a state of well-being.
