Yoga for Balance
Pam Herring
“Balance is not something you find, it’s something you create”
Jana Kingsford
Guided by the ethical
foundation of the Yamas and Niyamas Yoga for Balance is a slow paced practice that takes time to move through range of motion for joints as we build body awareness, adding accessible postures that build stability (sthira) and comfort (sukha). Allowing time to observe the breath and develop breathing techniques, pranayama, will not only benefit our physical body but bring balance to emotional states of mind, the Sattvic state of mind.
Explore alignment supported by chairs both seated and standing and experience the balance between effort and ease and how this may impact the state of balance in broader areas of our lives. This class is welcoming and accessible to all.
