Yoga for Girls ages 8 and up

Drop In's welcome - $15 per class
A series designed for new students and those who would like to continue learning the practice of yoga. These classes will introduce practices to help quiet their minds and relax their bodies. Through simple breathing exercises, gentle movements, guided relaxation, and mindful games, participants will learn ways to feel more present, focused, and calm. These essential life skills that then can be applied to real world situations. No prior experience is necessary. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle.
Leigh Sloss, M.Ed., RYT, is a Comprehensive Yoga Therapist and former elementary educator. She works privately with children, teens and adults sharing the therapeutic benefits of yoga and mindfulness for mental and physical health. She also teaches children's classes and is working with local schools to bring more Yoga and Mindfulness into the school setting.
